It was a bit long and they could have cut out the beginning part/'present day' scenes, but the Jack/Rose story was pretty engaging and the backdrop scenery/scope was top tier. It also got some bonus nostalgia points for me which probably helped push it up 5-10 spots.

Yeah, I can see the appeal for each of those/they have their niche. Green Book felt like a slightly elevated Driving Miss Daisy (which I ranked last). Spotlight felt too predictable/nothing interesting really happened (even though I respect the point/message/style. Argo was in a similar boat, but they did it a bit better). Chariots of Fire was also okay, but not a major Olympics/athletics fan (and it was forced in the Spotlight/Argo box). Rocky kind of had a similar theme and did it perfect.

That one really surprised me as I'm not a major classical music and/or musical fan. Something about the perspective of the story and acting/characters made it pretty special.

Yeah, Mrs Miniver might have been a slight victim of war movie fatigue as it was one of the the last ones I watched. Wasn't a fan of the rose situation and cliches, was rough getting through it. Definitely need to get to some of the Alfred Hitchcocks, currently working on Star Wars/James Bond/Golden Globe best pictures.

Even taking out personal enjoyment, I'd be willing to say that it's a solid ~9.4/10, and everything else in the list is maybe an 8.9/10 or lower. Nothing comes too close to it due to a combination of the plot/acting/theme/cinematography/effects/sound/etc. Most of these movies are top tier in a few or most of these areas, but LOTR/ROTK has it all.

That's pretty rough. I never died there. The first one is a scripted warning shot that hits the log, and then enough time to get to the first cover. My only guess is there was some hesitation. Try going max speed on the log next time/practice it once or twice on normal mode.

Yeah, I thought that was pretty interesting how it split that year. Seems like some people consider Wings as the main and/or sole one, but a greater majority count both of them, so I decided to include it. Expected it to be pretty bad going in (due to it being silent and so old), but it was actually decent. The plot really reminded me of A Place in the Sun.

I figured it out Most guides say lock both doors once you jump in that 3rd house window don’t do that! Jump in window the first door on left leave it unlocked Go 2nd door lock it now go to window on the right peek out get his attn’ Since you left the farthest door from you unlocked he will come in that door’ If you lock both he always knocks down door closest to you and game over if u hesitate for even a second or randomly don’t jump out the window or close it 😂 But if you do how I said he comes in the far door’ let him come in and the second you see him inside turn to your right jump out the window and you’re golden he won’t shoot you going around shimmy

Yeah, that part was really inconsistent for me at first which is why I added the note during that QTE. I practiced it on non-insane mode a bunch of times to lock it in. I think the key was to make sure you do steady pretty linear horizontal back and forth swipes with no hesitation. Also, start doing it before the prompt even appears.

Too bad achievements/perfect games don't contribute to it. Not a fan of crafting badges/gathering missing cards to make sets, so my level is mainly from the holiday badges. At level 116 now.

@@mystic95 Yeah that's sad I'm also not a fan of badges and trading cards. I got alot of my levels by participating in community events.

They banned a lot of the 5k achievements games, so I think over a million is impossible now. I just recovered from the ban (perfect game wise) a few days ago and hit 500,000 achievements, 1k perfects, 100% agc.

Surely all 1,239 perfect games aren't real and I'm not SSL in Rocket League, Master in Apex, Plat in R6, etc. The Dark Souls set and Elden Ring were pretty fun. Doing all AAA/quality games to hit this milestone would be impossible. Nobody cares about steam achievements because of SAM

@@mathewjankuloski5878 There are several achievement hunter groups and trackers that can check/tell if someone uses SAM and cheaters are removed from the leaderboards. For example, I have to carefully check each game for broken achievements before starting because even using SAM to remove a game or unlock a broken will get you banned. Would rather be stuck at 99% than risk losing legitimacy. Unsure why you have such a negative attitude/hostility regarding this. A majority of hobbies can be broken down and classified as useless if you want to think that way.

@@mystic95 Hi man may I know what groups and trackers there are. I'm also a achievemtent hunter and against SAM. Would appreciate it so i can join the group 😁. Congrats on 1 mil achievements tho (well not 1 mil anymore) but still crazy . Keep it up 👏

@@yamikoom9398 The main two are astats and steamhunters (governed by the 100Pals group). They are pretty strict (especially steamhunters). I was even removed from steamhunters once and had to show/explain how I got one 100% and all my games were inspected before being cleared.

Shortly after this they pretty much fixed the system. Banned most of the spam games and they mark games as restricted if too many achievements/low purchases/low reviews/etc. Went from 1m/1k to like 400k/700. Pretty close to 500k/1k now with a majority of the games being decent to high quality. 1m/1k is impossible now.

You need the Tomahawk trait (costs 2 trait points) to be able to throw melee weapons. Hold LMB to pull back/aim, then hit RMB to throw.

Depends on your style. I agree purely playing spam games would be pretty awful, but mixing them in/trying to maximize stats is generally part of the process for most achievement hunters. I mix in quality games consistently (like my most recent 100% is Elden Ring).

I actually almost ran out of space during the recording because it went on the SSD instead of the HDD and I did the whole session without any cuts.

You just need to go into edit profile and pick the achievement showcase tab. You might have to manually pull it to the top. There's also a chance you might have maxed out showcases for your current Steam level if it won't let you add it.

You need to be level 10 in steam in order to get a showcase
